ASEAN remains the largest export market, with imports up 2.3 times year-on-year; the United States has jumped to the second-largest market, with imports skyrocketing by 26 times; exports to the United Kingdom also saw a 43.2% year-on-year increase.

A local Guangzhou enterprise has developed and applied an ultra-low temperature freezing technology for lychees, allowing frozen fruit to retain 95% of its original freshness and extending shelf life to up to one year. The logistics freshness-keeping chainensures timeliness. For example, lychees from Conghua, Guangzhou can go from orchard to processing plant in just two hours. They are then air-shipped under a full cold chain, enabling a highly efficient process of "picked in the morning, packed and shipped in the afternoon, and hitting overseas shelves as early as the next day." Thefreshness-keeping chain in customs also accelerates the export process. Guangzhou Customs has opened the Green Channel ("Nothing to Declare") for lychee exports, minimizing clearance time and ensuring that the fruit's freshness remains unaffected by clearance processes.
